Over the years, the Museum has come to take part in several annual events. Whether it’s hosting big weekends like Riverrock and the Folk Festival at our Historic Tredegar site, or joining forces with other historic institutions to put on Court End Christmas or Civil War and Emancipation Day, we look forward to these special occasions every year.
The Time Travelers Weekend is unique among those events because its scope is so big. Fourteen area attractions spanning the Richmond region are taking part this year, and each one offers free admission on March 12 & 13 to a visitor with a Time Travelers Passport. This is such a great opportunity for Richmond residents to get out and discover these treasures that are right in their backyard! Want to travel back to the Elizabethan Era? Check out Agecroft. Is architecture your thing? The Branch Museum has you covered. If the Civil War is what strikes your fancy, then make plans to visit the Dabbs House Museum and be sure to take a tour of the White House of the Confederacy!
Get a full list of participating institutions and download your passport here. Let’s see how many stamps or stickers you can get on your passport!
We’d love to see your pictures as you travel back in time. Tag them with #TimeTravelersRVA and #ACWM!
