House 200- Women Preserving Confederate Memory

Uncover the work of the women of the Confederate Memorial Literary Society, who not only saved the house from destruction, but also collected, presented, and advocated a narrative of the Confederate experience. With John Coski (ACWM) and Ruth Ann Coski (historian).

Attendees are invited to a special collections tour of the Valentine following the program for an additional $15.00. The tour will showcase domestic items made by women to memorialize the Confederate cause. Tickets can be purchased using the Make a Reservations link.
