Hey Parents! The American Civil War Museum is hosting a Civil War Day Camp for kids ages 8-12 on July 27 & 28 from 9am-12pm! Give your child a glimpse of what life was like for newly recruited Civil War soldiers!

At School of the Soldier: Civil War Day Camp, campers will experience activities that were part of a typical day in the life of a common soldier: setting up camp, roll call, drill, and leisure activities. The camp will conclude with a mock capture-the-flag “battle. This is an excellent opportunity for children ages 8–12 who are interested in learning about how soldiers lived during the Civil War. It’s also an excellent way for them to make friends and learn teamwork skills!
