Programs for Groups

Our offerings evolve daily, and we welcome opportunities to tailor programs to suit your group’s needs. All programs require a minimum of 10 people.

Additional Reservation Guidelines

  • Groups must be booked at least two weeks in advance: The group rate only is available when booked in advance. Reservations of fewer than two weeks in advance are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  • An “experience” includes museum admission, guided tours, or programming. Ask about itineraries for visiting multiple museum locations.

  • A “group” requires a minimum of 10 people. Programming is available for smaller groups if they pay for the equivalent of 10 individuals. See Student & Youth Programming for more for groups of youth.

  • Programming depends on availability.

  • Payments are due upon arrival at the museum. Groups must pay as a group (one payment for the whole).

Museum Seminar

Tour one of our Richmond exhibits, take a guided tour of that site (either the White House of the Confederacy or Historic Tredegar), and then enjoy a talk on a topic of your choice from our Speakers Bureau programs.

  • Cost: $75 speaker fee, plus two-experience admission (exhibit + guided tour). Boxed lunches may be added for an additional charge. Please inquire.

  • Maximum number of participants: 20

  • Groups can order box lunches or bring your own.
