Digital Content Manager

The American Civil War Museum seeks a skilled, details-oriented team player as a Digital Content Manager to design and produce high-quality, shareable, and unique content across a variety of channels, maintain and update institutional websites, and end-to-end management of website assets.

This position will be responsible for creating and implementing a digital marketing strategy to increase visitor engagement and broaden the museum’s audience base, with the goal of conversion to visitation according to strategic priorities.

Major Gifts Officer

The Major Gifts Officer (Gifts Officer) has specific responsibility for assigned major gifts (individuals and corporations) and planned giving prospects in the areas of qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. The Gifts Officer develops relationships with current and potential donors in order to qualify, solicit and close gifts to support the American Civil War Museum (ACWM). The individual in this role reports to the Chief of Staff & Director of Development on a day-to-day basis on
the entire range of Development activities of the museum.

Guest Services Associate: ACWM-Appomattox

The Guest Services Associate (GSA) position is an ambassador of the museum as the primary contact for visitors providing information on the museum, promoting membership, assisting with retail and museum operations. The ACWM-Appomattox site is one of the three locations of the American Civil War Museum which is headquartered in Richmond, Virginia.

Director of Facilities

The Director of Facilities performs regular maintenance and repair of historic structures and associated systems. The Director of Facilities performs initial diagnostics, service, and repair and ensures the smooth daily operation of the facilities while maintaining a safe environment for visitors and staff. The Director of Facilities supervises facility contractors and works with other employees to coordinate projects, works carefully in a museum environment and performs a variety of tasks both collaboratively and individually.
