Photography was still a relatively new technology in 1861, but it helped to document the Civil War. What makes an image iconic? What are the best ways to care for photographs from the time? Join us for a showing of some of the best examples of the art from a private collection, and engage in discussion of these durable, yet delicate, objects of the past.
