Sip cider, shop local, meet Civil War Santa, and enjoy live music at ACWM–Appomattox’s Christmas Open House!
Get in some holiday shopping while enjoying hot cider, cookies, and Christmas crafts to keep the kids entertained. Meet and learn about the origins of Civil War Santa, and experience the sights and sounds of a 19th-century Christmas as our reconstructed cabin comes to life with living history interpretations by the Pallas Athena Ladies Aid Society.
Additionally, enjoy live music by Doves and Dragons throughout the day, with special performances by the Appomattox Youth Chorale at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
